was wondering if its ok to run the skunk2 pro2s on a jdm type R motor along with dual springs n retainers but completely stock bottom end.. would this be ok?

 

yes as long as you had matching valvetrain to handle the cams.

 

some1 had told me that its too aggressive for the stock bottom end and im better off going stage1 pro1? true or false?

 

ull probably want to tune it.

 

The bottom end will be fine. Just make sure everything up stop is up to snuff and get it tuned after the cam swap.

should b ok i had first hand experience with the pro2's in my little 1.8 ITR, made 205whp with pro2's/Intake/Header/68mm TB and 3" intake with Blox velocity stack.
