Default JDM GSR swap into my civic questions

Okay, I swapped a OBD2 JDM GSR into my 1998 ex coupe. I reused my ex wiring harness, obviously.

I have some problems.

2 CEL's, one for knock sensor, and the other is primary heater o2 sensor.

I bolted up the JDM gsr header to my stock civic exhaust, it barely fits and rattles because the flanges don't line up.

What cat. do i need? I know i have two o2 sensors for my obd2 civic but im just not sure what will be a direct fit..

That is my main concern, I also broke my fan switch next to my thermostat during install, I've NEVER heard my fan come on ever since the swap (1 month) I do have overheating issues and they only happen on the highway at speeds of 65+

Any help would be much appreciated seeing how im doing this all on my own and its myfirst swap...

i would just go to a muffler shop and have them redo the exhaust with the stock muffler on it. if you want to run a cat, get yourself a universal magnaflow cat and have them weld some flanges on it. if you don't want a cat get yourself a test pipe

I went to one and they said they wouldnt want to cut and weld it.. I have heard that I can get a 99-00 GSR cat. I have a JDM header so i think its a bit longer and has a o2 bung on it already..

Im just pretty confused at this point

I'd appreciate it if you made your own thread, im trying to find answers here...

Im not so worried about the exhaust for now, i have one bigger problem:

When climbing RPM's i get into my 1st stage of vtec and it is hesitant, it is almost skipping like its misfiring. I just replaced my sparkplugs..

Still doing it, is it because im running to rich from not having o2 sensor?
