MY CAR WAS STOLEN!
This morning my 1994 del sol was stolen from my apartment in longmont, colorado. If anyone in the area sees it please call the police. Its the only silver del sol on boulder county, has a full body kit, jdm b16 with full greddy turbo and exhaust systems. Again please call the police if you see it. Thanks

in addition to an alarm (that should be stealth installed)
fuel kill switch
ignition kill tied in with alarm
backup battery in the trunk
extra sirens ( i'd say at least 3)
hell you'd be 90% good if you didnt have any of that but had a personal wheel boot on the front tire

I've seen stories where thiefs brought there own batteries and wired up a new ingnition to get a car to start. Also, an ignition kill switch doesn't really do much if they bring in a tow truck.
Sorry to hear about your loss, just out of curosity, had long had it been since you had the thing tuned? In our area, people been getting there stuffed jacked from the garage of a house within weeks of a tune.

It may not be the answer for you, but it'd be pretty hard for them to put their own steering wheel on the car when you have the lock over your hub.
well the best setup with quick release that has the lock over the hub, a club that locks the clutch, security with tilt sensor, backup battery and backup siren. It might be better to get a club to lock the ebrake actually and the shifter if they are trying to tow it they wont be able to get the back wheels to move so they can get the car on the truck. just my $.02
I doubt your alarm was installed in a stealth manner and to the degree it needs to be. Sorry to hear about your car none the less and hope you get it back in one piece. Mine was stolen in November of 2005, was recovered but pretty much fully stripped. I rebuilt it and bought a nice alarm and installed it myself in a stealth manner before it ever hit the street again.
PS. I have my **** decked out in security. There are ways around everything you do to your car as far as security. But for someone to get mine short of a tow truck/roll back it is going to take some very dedicated guys as well as TIME. That is all you can really do is make it take as much TIME as possible. The more time it takes them the better. One thing I have noticed that really sucks is how many people do not pay any attention to alarm sirens. I left the grocery store the other week and forgot to disarm my alarm before I opened my trunk with the key and the alarm tripped. People were walking around and I never saw any of them look my way. WTF??? I am thinking about going back in and re-wiring my horn into the siren circuit as well..will be even louder then.
Hey everyone, thanks for your kind words and advice. earlier today the cops called, they found our car. it was completely gutted......**** thieves
damn man im sorry to hear about your car getting stripped. thing is it only takes a few minutes to steal the car and less than 5 hours to strip the car is the engine still in the car? you should get a GPS so next time they will find your car as soon as you call it in..... if the car was parked over grass i'd say dig a 3 foot deep hole.. get a 5 foot chain and leave only 2 feet sticking out of the hole. cover it in concrete and throw dirt over it so grass would grow back. then connect it to the back axle with a lock so if they do start the car the car wouldn't move because it would be spinning tires on the grass. creating noise and unwanted attention
