ok i have this pos of a motor and its a d15b8 i hate it has lik little to no power dont have the money for a good swap right now but i have this z6 head just lying around could i slap that head on that block let me now

Make sure it is already equipped with 16 valve pistons, if not you need to obtain some 16valve pistons first (don't know if you know or not but the B8 is originally an 8 valve motor, some have the 16 valve pistons in them from the factory and some do not).

your d15b2 only has 8 valves?

ohh haha. dang now i feel good to have a 16 valve d15b2 hahaha! the power still doesnt satisfy me

 

well drr, its a b2 lol. hell, my ls doesn't even impress me all that much anymore. i've become use to it i guess. time for a gsr or maybe a b20z lol. course the plans are boost the **** out of the coupe first.. new motor for the hatch will come in due time..

 

lol yeah i hate the lack of power but i just found a really dirt cheap swap d16a1 for 350 with a fresh rebuild =D maybe tradin my greddy exhaust for it and my exedy stage two clutch lol


question are over sized clutches good??
