The otherday, she started up her car to come home from work. As she drove, it shifted fine through all gears. When she came to her first stop light, it wouldnt shift out of 1st & the check engine light came on. She pulled over, shut the car off & waited about 5 minutes. After starting it back up, it shifted fine again til the first stop.

Could it be the TCU? Hopefully tomorrow Im gonna switch my TCU from my 91 CB9 to her car to see if it still does it. Any other suggestions?

She needs her car ASAP to get to work & school.
