Spoiler on an 02'
Im picking up an 02' type s this weekend with no spoiler. Im looking to order an OEM-Type one ( the high one ), but since the care has no spoiler currently, what am i going to be looking at in terms of installation for the new spoiler?
Thanks in advance.

Most times, if you order it right through the dealor, you can get everything you need. It's usually a templet for where the holes get drilled, all the hardware, and the correct trunk rods to lift the added weight from the spoiler. As far as installing it, just use the templets (measure twice), drill, mount, done!
Measure twice being the operative comment...ha
but thanks, any respectable dealers you know of?
I have found a couple but if you know a good one I'll for sure consider it.

haha, yea...that is if you're doing it yourself. If not, I know a few good places. However, I'm a little farther away then you'd probably like to travel. Any local Honda/Acura dealer should be able to do this for you no problem. If I wasn't deployed, I could hook you up with a deal on one of these. But good luck with it, I'm sure it will be worth it once it's on there.
Yeah im in MD right now anyway. Ill see what its like because the priority is for it to be done right. But i will post pics once i get every squared away.
And thank you for your service to our country.

Well, if you want it to be done right, just call up your local dealer and get it ordered. With Honda's new overnight delivery (if you call before 2pm usually), it should be there the next day. Make sure you get the rods too, otherwise anytime you go to use the trunk, it's going to fall back down on top of you. It doesn't take long to do it, so once the part gets in, you'll be rolling out happy with a new spoiler in like an hour.

(Oh, and no need to thank me...after all, it's what I wanted to do!)
