Default New to fourm. Looking for advice.

Hey guys,

I'm new to the forums and I am looking for some advice on the 92 civic CX i just bought, I am also doing a D16Z6 swap. I want this to be my drag (but also road legal car) I have a '88 prelude as my daily so this will be a car that I will take out once and a while. Any suggestions on how to make this thing fast are welcome!

Thanks, Tyler

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am doing the d16z6 swap cause the kid had it laying around and said he would sell it for 200 bucks. I do want to boost it but its going to be a while. I want to maybe make it into a so called "sleeper" with a classic civic CX look with more power than your typical cx, haha. nothing to fancy in the way of looks its all about the engine for me. I am on a little of a budget. But I do not want to cut corners.

There are many routes you can go with on the Z6 depending on your budget. Give us a call here at 888-922-6686 and we can go over how Bisimoto Engineering can help with your build

Z6 drag car?

Boost that sucka. I've seen well built boosted D series in the 12s.

Haha, well right at the moment. Funds are low. I have just the Z6 head and vtec solenoid. What else do I need to go around this engine? The person I bought it off of gave me an intake manifold which is exactly like intake manifold that is on the engine in the car now. Should I upgrade this to something better? Thanks for all the help everyone!
