theres not really a difference except when your not moving. turn the wheel can be a pain if your not moving but you get used to it. i rather have no power steering imo.

ok thanks alot guys. I wont pay any attention to that then.

Also when i drove it eventhough it pulls hard and vtec kicks in the cel came on.
He said that because the car doesnt have an intake on it that thats the reason
the cel came on. Is this true?

No intake would cause a CEL, however it could be for anything if you haven't checked it. I would be hesitant to by a car from a guy who drives around without an intake aka drives around pulling dirty, unfiltered air into his motor. Any other details on the car you could share with us? Is it clean and in good condition? How much does he want? It's getting so hard to find well cared for Civics...

No power steering isn't a problem at all, I prefer it without.

Well the car hasnt been driven since he got it. He actually told me i was the first person to drive it when i took it for a lil test drive. Also he pretty much rebuild the whole head. As the car being clean it is pretty clean straight body just faded paint not an issue. But the interior is well taken care i would give it a 9 of 10.And the only thing the car doesnt have is the power steering and air conditioning. His asking price is 2k firm.

I had an 88 EF hatch with no PS and it was fine. You shouldnt have a problem with it.

I bought my EM with a lil' rust on the right rear quarter panel inner wheel well lip for $25xx with 120xxx miles. So, yes I'd say decent. Also, I fixed my rust right up with some Rustoleum fender paint. It's bithcin'.

That's not a bad price. It's definitely getting harder to find an Si. Just make sure it's really in as good of condition as you think before buying. Good luck!

I have 2 Civics, one with PS and one without. Having no PS is not a big deal with these cars. I actually prefer the feel of the manual steering rack.

well the car is in perfect condition just the ac and ps r the only things missing. I didnt see one single dent on the whole car. And well the car was gunna be a project car for him but sadly he got in a terrible motorcycle accident which ended up leaving him paralyzed. That is why he is need of some $$ i will update this thread with some pics later on once i go get i would say on thursday. As for the motor its a d16a2 with a rebuild head.

Yeah I have an EG Si and I deal without powersteering. I wish I had it but its not bad at all. Especially since I got a stock steering wheel, but my old ricer one that came with the car sucked turned bc it was so small and required more force to turn. When youre driving it doesn't matter but when youre stopped it can suck a little. My Si also does not have AC either and thats a bigger deal than PS imo.

CHeck to c what the cel is, its very simple. I hope u meant b16a2 not d16, u need to check and c what kind of ecu but still 2k is fair and u can more than likely fix whatever is wrong with it
