whats this on the IM?
Although you do need it if you're running a USDM ECU. It will throw a CEL without it, but will not cause limp mode.
I've got mine intact on my GSR, but I'm running OBD2b USDM engine and ECU.

Not always, iv ran mine without it plugged in on my z6 factory p28 with no cel
Actually, you're right. Sometimes I forget that I'm one of the few on honda-tech who runs OBD2 on a swap.
It will throw a code on a USDM OBD2 ECU. It shouldn't throw a code on an OBD1 ECU or a JDM OBD2 ECU.

the pic is from some acura parts dealer. not sure where i found it. and how do i run the vacuum line for a gsr without the evap? just from the vacuum tank to the intake manifold? also, there is a vacuum hose on the throttle body and im not sure where that goes. anyone have any idea? right now its on the vacuum tank as well but i wanna make sure its right
Yeah just run it to the throttle body (should b before the throttle plate on the filter side) from the charcoal canister. One of them goes to atomosphere, one to purge, and one to throttle body. i think
