Bad head or not, $600 ain't at all a bad deal for that. You could have a new head on there & get VTEC pretty easy, if you didn't already plan on swappin.

That is a heck of a deal you got for that price. The car looks nice, but I would loose the fogs or get some better looking ones. I am not criticizing, but they look out of place.

Nah you can use any b series v tec head. But would at least need a v tec kit, head studs, an ecu and a tune. Maybe some other stuff. Just naming those off the top of my head

Do you know what brand of release it is?
Ive had personal bad experiences with the cheap releases. Now i will only go NRG or Better.
NRG is still a knock off but its a very respectable, well made knock off.
Some of the cheaper ones wiggle when your drivin down the road, kinda scary.

I'm talking it up because i got one for sale if anyone interested.

Sorry to thread jack.
Awesome clean hatch bro!
Keep them teal SI's alive!

Nice hatch man. I bought one for $2000 for my sister exactly like yours si, color, webs, but had si interior. Unfortunately she didn't know what she had and quickly put it into the ground and traded it for a 250,000 mile beat up ford exploder! Meh you learn and live. Clean car though!!!
