OEM Mounts + Window Filler, question
so i have a set of OEM torque mounts and im thinking about doing the window fill mod for a couple reasons. Mainy because i dont want solid mounts for daily driving the car, but i also want to get the benefit of having a stiffer mount without a crazy amount of vibration.
my question is, has anyone here done this and from their experience how did the car feel, did it vibrate alot?

this is what he's talking about

and its not window filler its window weld

i used the energy suspension plug in to reinforce my motor mounts. there is noticeably more vibration in the steering wheel but it seems to be getting better. I guess it is breaking in. The motor is more responsive now and doesn't shift a lot anymore. It costs like $30 off amazon. I plan to use the filler for the rear bushing in the back as I see some cracks in the rubber developing.
I say go for it, but you will have more vibes. I cant imagine what a harder mount would be like lol.

oh, i just did that to a rear mount only: http://www.g3integra.com/motor-mount...-polyurethane/
it vibrates more, but i will likely never have to replace the mount ever again. that's the trade.

I used construction polyurethane adhesive from home depot. Theyre still drying, but my homie said he did it and it worked fine. You just have to let them dry allllll the way thru

and the mounts arnt broken by any means, there brand new OEM. I figured filling them would stiffen them up a bit without vibrating like crazy.
My buddy has solid mounts and EVERYTHING vibrates and rattles, just imagine it would be annoying on long hauls.
so what you guys are saying is the vibration increase is quite noticeable?
i filled 3 mounts, but only put the rear back in the car. the front two are brand new and untouched. like i posted earlier, i filled the rear mount because i don't want to work on it again. getting it out is not my definition of a fun job.
the other two are sitting in my basement so i could keep tabs on how quickly they cured and how stiff they would end up. i bolted the rear mount back in place so it didn't dry crooked.
yes, they cause more vibration. i haven't driven it since because i tore the interior out at the same time, but i did let it warm up to bleed my coolant system and make sure my valve adjustment sounded right.
if you want a smooth ride, find a way to drive without tearing the mounts (maybe look into an engine damper). my DD integra is lowered so i am used to a rough ride already.

thanks for the info everyone
Daniel - that post was extremely helpful, i think i have my answer, thanks!
yep for sho The last pictures on that thread were the used name is "rotascircuit" thats my mount. The rotascircuit account they shut down for stupid crap...anyways the glue stuff made it really stiff and I vibrates a bit. I recommend getting the actual window m3 stuff cuz its more rubber style rather than home depo construction glue is more rock hard. MAKE SURE YOU LET IT DRY COUPLE EXTRA DAYS, LIKE A GOOD WEEK cuz I thought my first try was enough and when I drove one mile, it all came out.
Yeah its worth it. I've done it to all my mounts cause just doin the rear mount causes it to break down too easy. if you have the support from the other mounts, it will hold longer. If you have just the rear mount, it takes hard hits and eventually breaks the window weld down. Just do the mount and if you want it less harder dont do anything to force it to dry, like a blow dryer or cookin it , cause they harden alot.
