STORY-Please help lol,
About 6 months ago i was experiencing some noises coming from my JDM B16 tranny. it made a few lite clicks till i pressed in the clutch. figured it was the clutch set up so i procrastinated for a month then replaced the Spec stage 2 i had with a brand new ACT stage 2 clutch pressure plate and new lightweight flywheel just to find out when i put the tranny back in i still get the clicking and clanking. After research i beleive its the differential. any suggestions?

If the noise goes away when you depress the clutch pedal when sitting still or moving, I'd suggest an input shaft bearing went to hell.

What I told you is the only way to know without opening the trans up... unless of course you have x-ray vision. :p

Basically... if the car is moving and the noise can go away by pressing in the clutch... it's not the diff. So there is no need to worry about that.
