I ordered a new pan + gasket from rockauto.com...but I think it's the wrong one.

This is what I was sent.



But this is the style I have with the recessed gasket area.



Is there anyway to make the pan I was sent work? It looks like the only place I can find another aluminum pan is through the dealer/used.

 

looks like they gave you the y7 oil pan which is steel not aluminum like the ex's came with. you should be fine it all fits the same just a steel pan now not aluminum.
