ive got a b16a pushing 300kw atw + in nz
26" mt et street slicks

i have a ys1 box with a type r lsd at the moment, i picked up another ys1 box and are looking at upgrading the diff to one of these

im looking at a scond hand cusco metal plate lsd in nz
(good condition etc)
or
MFactroy helical lsd

both are good priced

i drag race and track race.
mostly drag at this point

ive hard that clutch plate lsd are weeker
ive seen a kazz lsd brake from a na b16a

has any one used a cusco lsd for drags

mfactory says that their helical lsd is good for 1000hp.

Just because on kazz broke doesnt mean anything. there are guys that have broken quaife's with n/a car. a lot of times it is due to improper installation.

 

Well, MFactory is on this site and very easy to contact.

IMO I'd contact them and see what great customer support feels like.

I've heard a lot of great things about MFactory!! When the funds are greater I will be purchasing one for sure!!

 

the kaaz is going to be a noisey diff, really annoying in my opinion. I have a MFactory diff in my car and recommend it highly.

 

I would go with the mfactory if i could do it again! From what i've seen, they have great customer service and they offer their differentials at a fair price

looks like every one is using mfactroy lsd

i havent heard of any one using them in nz
im sure their is one or two
