mini me swap info on d16z6 head
does any know if i have to plug the head for the oil passage to the vtec oil supply when using the 91 si block . i did have a z6 block but my rod started knocking so im doing the mini me. any advice would be grateful . currently im running greddy turbo setup stock block stock head running 13.8 1/4 98mph . including gsr dash swap with working gauge cluster.
take your oil jet out of the block and plug the oil in at the vtec solenoid and your done... enjoy VTEC. also use the d16z6 intake mani for further increases

Let me know how it turns out, and also i hear a lot of ppl just a msd switch instead of using the correct ecu, any problems with that?
ive already have a swap done to the ,a full d16z6 with si intake manifold 91 integra ecu fields vtec controller and the normal bolt ons running 13.8 @98mph stock block stock head wit greddy turbo. 10lbs
I've got a 1.6 mini-me, just pull the oil control jet out of the block, the z6 head has an oil control jet built into it. Have fun with the 10.5:1 compression and the turbo
