hi all,

can anyone tell me the size of a 94 del sol vtec front brake disc please???

i measured mine and came up with 260mm X 21mm but not 100% if thats correct.

im in need of new discs as mine are wearing and most disc's i find seem to be 262mm X 21mm. for most 1.6 vtec civic's.

these disc's are on a 94 EX civic coupe 1.6 sohc vtec (non abs) witch according to hondapartsdeals.com the calipers and disc's are the same as a del sol vtec's without ABS with same part numbes etc..

 

the front discs will be the same size, if you get bigger discs they wont fit when you put the calipers back on, if you want better discs get some slotted drilled from jhpusa.com they're the same price as replacement rotors you get from a parts store

 

90-91 Civic EX
92-95 Civic EX
92-95 Civic Si ABS
96-00 Civic EX
99-00 Civic Si
90-01 Integra (non-ITR)
94-97 Del Sol VTEC

Here in the States use the same rotors. Umm, any Civic with a B-series stock (minus CTR) will use the same rotors (EF9, EF8, EG6, EG9, EK4). Any non-R Integra will use the same rotors. Del Sol VTi and Del Sol SiR use the same rotors.

Your measurements are off.

 

no they're not all the same em1 Si's are bigger then ex, and ex are bigger then dx and cx

 

You need to do your own research. EJ8 and EM1 front discs are the same.

 

thanks for the comments guys, i may have very well been 2mm off in diemeter as i only measured it with tape and may have been off center a small bit witch is why im not 100% its 260mm. i had the disc off and all but couldent see any size prints like you get with rear disc's

 

my own research was owning these cars si's always have the biggest brakes

The 92-95 Si non-ABS has smaller brakes than the 92-95 Civic EX

EX ABS and non-ABS front discs are the same. EX ABS has rear discs while the EX non-ABS has drums.

 

yeah true man and as i said mines non abs so had drum's but i did a disc swap on the rear

okay was just on the MINTEX brakes site and according to them the discs are 262mm i have mintex pads on at the moment and kept the box and the pads part number MDB 1610 are listed along with the disc's to suit so think iv got it now
