I have a feeling its somewhere along the lines of the coil and/or icm but will be checking that tomorrow. As for now i replaced Spark Plugs, Dizzy cap and rotor, Main Relay, battery and still nothing. Starter is fine.

You defiantly have spark and mechanical movement but do you have fuel flowin in there?

 

yea i hear the fuel pump when i turn the key, and when i crank to start i smell the gas, so i dont think fuel might be an issue, just in case i'll be replacing the filter this afternoon.

 

Have you checked to see if you are getting fire to the plugs?

 

well thats what i suppose it is, nothing coming from the dizzy, hence i mentioned i wanted to check out the icm and coil

 

possible igniter issue....autozone can test it. new ones like 90 bucks

 

igniter? where is that if you dont mind me asking?

 

inside the dizzy..its on the right side held in with a screw with 4 lil spade connectors i believe

 

yea i thought that was always the icm!? is it different than a cb7? if so i've been confused 1/2 of my life lol

yeaaa i guess it could be called that too...its sometimes referd to as the ignition control module..parts guy called it igniter..same thing

 

kool so now we're on the same page...so yea i'm looking at a good $40 dollars for that in Auto Zone i'll be getting that tommorow
