forgot to mention i have a zc block with a z6 head
I have a cel for my iat sensor that's the one behind the intake manifold
white one right I can't find the plug on my harness for it I jave a plug by the distributor can that be it



heres another pic with the two plugs i cant find a sensor too

heres another plug by the fuel rail that looks just like the iat sensor one could that have something to do with it


cant find the sensor for a fan switch either sorry but need to fix !!


could this be my cel 6 or this

 

Its definitely the white sensor, although I'm not sure on the plug, if its either, its the smaller circle one, definitely not the square one.

 

your iat sensor is the one on your intake there.. the black one...

 

maybe i should extend the circle on and try it

 

What color are the wires for that plug... the iat sensor is the red and green wire plug... your car looks obd2 which would be that black plug.... the one in your hand looks like its the fan switch which is on the t-stat housing or the coolant sensor under the distributor area... can you show a pic of under their and a pic of your intake manifold...

 

For sure il put one up tomm toolate now but thanks because I have a cel light for the water temp sensor too I actually have to knock them out one at a time

 

that small one on the right in the picture i belive hooks up to the back of the intake manifold for the idle air control valve the other im not sure

 

Your IAT is the one already plugged in in the background to your CAI

 

Yeah.. your iat sensor is def. The one plugged in, and that is most likely the coolant sensor.. seeming that you got a cel for it

 

If that's the iat sensor I don't get the cel light I have cel
codes 6,7,10,41

You're throwing a Water Temp sensor, a primary o2 sensor heater, an IAT sensor and a throttle position sensor. Wow. The one you're holding to the right is probably for your water temp. The other three may have just gone bad, I'd assume the Oxygen one is definitely bad. Wires could have been cut on the others or maybe you have a problem with your CAI. Your throttle cable could be sitting too high or low.

 

special brown thanks an ima try that tommorow the cirlce one to the temp sensor which i cant find because theres one at the front of the head which is plugged in i thought that was is or u think its my harness cause i have a zc block with a z6 head

 

the plug by your injectors/intake manifold is for the OBD2 EVAP purge solenoid pictured above that is usually bolted to the fuel rail on the OBD2 engines

 

don't think I have a cel for that and I can't fi d that sensor

 

Are u running obd1 or 2?

 

IAT sensor is the one thats plugged into his intake.... the others hes holding is for O2 sensors and obd2 purge valve....

 

its obd2 harness the head is z6 and its a zc block im running a p28 with a jumper harness
