which cam gear do I use with a d16y8 block and z6 head?

you def. want to use the cam gear that is mated to the cam if your useing a cam from a z6 use the z6 gear the y8 gear is set like 8 degrees different than the z6

And if I use an adjustable cam gear for a y8, how much do you need to retard the timing?
