Alright i have a 95 integra ls that im rebuilding i put a new motor in it the same b18b1 as came out but rebuilt. My problem is I am not getting any spark?! I checked my dizzy its good threw it on my buddys integra and it fired right up. but on my car im not getting any spark, plugs r new,and wires r new.Any sugjestions or ideas will be appreciated

 

Check all grounds. Is the ECU grounded?

 

should there be a ground wire coming off the ecu?

 

I'm trying to think of what all could be causing the car not to start. Their should be a ground on the thermostat housing. Check all of your grounds. Pickup a haynes/helms manual.. asap. it will help you out tremendously.

 

i got a haynes and a chilton ha they both send me to the ignition module, but its all good, ground on thermostat is hooked up. idk wats up car has been sittin for days now

 

Do you have power to the distributor assembly, [black/yellow lead] when ign. switch is in run position? 94

 

Check your ecu fuse!

 

yea i removed my dizzy cap and stuck a little light bulb tester in there and it lit up so there is power in the dizzy

 

all fuses are good

 

If the ecm fuse is blown im pretty sure the distributor wont spark.

 

What about the harness to fuse box, did you tighten those up when you swapped?

I know you said your fuses are good ,im not to positive about 94-97 tegs but my 98 gsr has ignition coil fuse under the dash.

 

dint find ecm on ether fuse diagrams but checked all fuses and there all good also the wiring to the fuse box under the hood is all snug and good to go

 

i do not have ignition coil fuse under the dash, its a 95 with a 94 motor if that means anything

 

it has to be somethin simple if i have power inside the dizzy

 

Do you have power at the injectors, [ign. switch in run] if so check for power at the ECU/ECM IGP 1 and 2, both are yellow/black leads.

If no power on the above, check the PGM-FI Main Relay, injector relays output, yellow/black. 94

 

i have power at all my injectores

ill check inna bit i got her fired up for about 10 seconds now i got nothing again
