The bodyshop is having an issue with something. They said they have a USDM wiring harness on the car, and the JDM front end is almost done being put on, just got out of paint. How do they modify it to work with a Phillips HID kit? Anyone know how to help me with what is going on. Maybe Mike from IPS will step in.

I'm having a little touble finding a how-to diagram in the search. I searched under "wiring harness" "light wiring harness" "jdm front wiring harness". No luck. Anyway you or somebody could copy/upload the instructional diagram(s) here. The bodyshop is waiting to hear from me.

That site didn't help at all. I aready know what colors correspond to which wires/lights. I need instructions on how it should be done. Similar to the recent thread on the foglight harness wiring.

 

He doesn't know, Rboosted wired his up. I have been trying to get ahold of him, but he has been at work.

that diagram is useless?

it was all i really needed.

you take some 12 guage wire and start putting things together.

1157 goes into corner lights, 9006 to low beams 9005 to highs, h3s to fog lights, 194 for city lights, 194 for side markers, that should be it. for true jdm style lights the sidemarkers stay on with the parking lights. it doesnt blink at any given time. (you can wire this into the parking light itself)

the city light turns on when parking lights are on.

low beams turn on when they turn on. and so do high beams. foglight wiring is as shown in diagrams.

dammit i just wrote this up 2 days ago and you cant find it. hopefully i wont have to write this again for a while

if you want something else be more precise. this is the info you need it seems. if not say so .
