weird check engine light. need help
i recently started getting a check engine light. im not new to hondas but this is a new car for me. it's a 96 civic with a obd2a-obd1 jumper and when i use the wire to check the engine light i come up with code 33 but thats not a real code. can you look at this video and tell me what code or codes i have. the car is not running any diffrent. and the light only comes on after a few minutes or driving then remains on untill i cut the car off.

For code 43, you focus on checking the primary O2 sensor if you have no performance problems. If you have performance problems, then troubleshoot the fuel system, such as measuring the fuel pressure.
Code 41 indicates a problem with the circuit for the heater element in the O2 sensor, not the sensor itself.

do you feel i should just unhook the o2 from the harness??
hey thanks for all the help. i fixed the iat problem the damn sensor was loose. so now im going to drive it and see if the light comes back on. im pretty sure the iat problem just happend yesterday. so we will just have to see.
The PC I was on earlier blocked it. I didn't even know it was there until now.
Do you guys know you can just pull the back-up fuse to reset the ECU? You don't have to unhook the battery.
What did you try that resulted in the same code?

I fixed my iat sensor. Then reset the Ecu and went for a drive. The cel came back on. And I noticed that the air / furl gauge still only works for about 45sec than goes blank
Pull the codes. Do you get code 14 or code 43 or both? By the way, the air:fuel gauge relies on information from the O2 sensor. This may give you a hint about the CEL.

well im pretty sure that is a code 43.
so now im wanting to know i would even get this code if im tuned on chrome. i dont know anything about chrome but if my ecu doesnt use the o2 sensor to run the car why do i get a cel.
what im going to do is try to replace the o2 sensor. but i have to find a used one. do you think if i just unhook it would i still get a cel.
