Default ek ex master cylinder vs eg.

i'm working on my wifes 93 hatch. her brakes were all rusted up and nasty. so, i took the whole front nuckles off my 97 ex parts car. i know the rotors and calipers are bigger. i was wondering if the master cylinder is bigger too. if so i can get the master cylinder and brake booster off today before i take the car to the junk yard.

don't get what? about the red car? its the biggest piece ever!! the fenders and doors and trunk lid were filled full of bondo. the truck is so heavy it bearly opens when you pop it. there is a huge hole in the floor board from the h22 swap and from where i cut parts to convert the eg to stick shift. the steering is so shot that when you drive down the road it would wobble like mad. the rack and pinion itself was shot. the entire car rattled like you would not believe. in pics it looks ok but the body work was the worst i have ever seen. it looked like they sanded the car with 100 grit and then painted it with a paint brush. plus by the time i gutted it for every thing for the eg hatch (sexier car imo) there was nothing left to want.

btw i got a brake booster and master cylinder from a gsr in the junk yard today. its also going in the eg.

forgot to mention the struts and coil overs were also shot. the head liner was junk. in short you could by a car by the time you fixed this one up. i took 90% of the usefull stuff out of the car.

i was simply asking if there was any benefits from going from a 93 hatch mc and bb to a 97 ex mc and bb. as in is the bore bigger and what not. i found out there was not much of a benefit besides the fact that the 93 hatch one was rusted out. but when i took the car to the junk yard, i came across a gsr mc and bb. it has the 1" bore and the huge brake booster. so i grabed it and installed it on the car today. i have to modify one line but other than that its done. it is huge compared to what was on there.

using '96 - '00 Civic Knuckles on a '92 - '95 causes some alignment issues IIRC.

i read that it throws off the toe. but anytime you take all this stuff apart and put it back you should align it anyway.
