225/50/16 Will it work?? 5th Gen.
I've been searching for some time. Can i fit a 225/50/16 onto my 5th Gen Accord? (1994 Accord LX) without any clearance issues?
Any idea what wheel offset i would need to make this work? Thanks.

I fit a 225 50 15 bfg drag radial under the front of mine without an issue in any way on stock oem ex 15 inch wheels which I believe are a +50 offset.
Although I would suggest you make sure you have a wide enough rim for the tire as the oem EX wheels I ran with these tires were only 5.5" wide and they recommend a 6-8" wheel width. Worked ok for me but its not ideal cause you pull the tire pretty good at the sides to fit it on that small of a wheel which cost you come of the contact area of the tire not touching.
Also to note if your much wider than probably about a 6-6.5" wheel width just guesstimating from what I seen on my own 5th gen. Your probably going to need to start compensating with the offset to push them out a bit more than the stock +50 since you will be darn close to rubbing the suspension.

I didn't ask about 205....but thank you for the response.....i think.
So with a 225, i should be okay? shouldn't rub? you recommend +50 Offset?
