Problem can't rev pass 6500 rpm?

I have a 96 integra with a ls motor and im using obd2 p72 ecu what could be the problem?

the p72 ecu is for a gsr motor.

besides being for the wrong engine? mmm probably a fault code that has the ecu is safety mode. the knock sensor is one that comes to mind. what did you expect with the wrong ecu anyway?

So you're 300 rpm away from redline. Your tach might be off by a little. If you are running a GSR ECU change it out for an ls ECU.

i only got a gsr ecu ive been trying to get a ls ecu but no one has one. but when i check the codes its only check engine code 22. and my friend said my tach might be off but how do i fix that?

if it is off how do i fix that?

will getting a jumper harness and a obd1 ls ecu help?
