iv done some research, and iv found out that ill need the obd0-obd1 ecu conversion, and dizzy conversion.
can anyone post a pic or layout of the dizzy conversion. or where i may be able 2 find such a pic. i could look around and buy 1 for 30-50bucks but i have a obd1 dizzy clip and a obd0 dizzy clip. any help with this would be great.

he doesn't have to alter the clips if he retains the obd0 injectors

whatever engine he is using may not have an obd0 ecu that would run it properly. plus converting to obd1 gives you tuning capabilities that are almost non-existant now for non obd platforms.

D16SiHatch is correct. the tuning abality will be endless with going to obd1.
i just got this 91 dx hatch. the seafoam green color. it has a b18b1 motor and a b16 cable tranny. runs great, but i have a full turbo set up from my old 96 b16 coupe thats finding a home in this hatch.

the injectors will have to be obd1. (ill have 2 get obd1 clips) any info on the resistor box. i didnt need one on the last set up.

the dizzy will be obd1 (i guess it has to be) so i need the pin out conversion for obd0-obd1 ond the dizzy.

and the ecu since it has the b18b1 in it i dont need to convert mpfi.. so ill just get a conversion harness.

SOUND correct???

[QUOTE=HondaPartsHero;42480014]JDMKid can you confirm this chart according to how you did it?

hey like i said man the only wire you have to worry about is the large white one on the obd0 harness... which that chart says it is the ignition input signal.. and the ignition input signal on the obd1 clips are yellow/green... every other wire is the same colors and everything matches up... so this is how it would go

obd0 to obd1
LARGE CLIP
orange to orange
orange/blue to orange/blue
blue/green to blue/green
blue/yellow to blue/yellow
white/blue to white/blue
small white to small white
LARGE white to yellow/green

SMALL CLIP
blue to blue
black/yellow to black/yellow

i would take pics for you but its already done and all taped up...
lmk how things worked out

as for the resistor box this is what u must do
cut the resistor box clip off and splice the 4 red wires into the one yellow.. so the injectors will get power... you dont need a resistor box with obd1 only with larger injectors...

If anybody else would like some help jus pm me with ur number and ill shoot u a txt... i love to help ppl out... this wiring thing is not hard at all before i did my harness i was scared shitless of it but now i am completly confident and would take on more wiring...

Hey everyone, I am new to engine swaps but i am trying to put a 92 civic(d15b7) engine into my 89 civic lx (d15b2) I was wondering if anyone could help me out with the best way to convert my stock obd0 harness to accomidate my obd1 engine. I know i can buy a ecu jumper harness but i dont know what i would actual have to do under the hood. I would appreciate any help that you can offer.

Thank you,
Wayne

are you trying to run the egr valve or something? the emissions site is gonna test you as obd0 cause of the year of the car, regardless of the motor year
