I am getting ready to do my mini me swap on my 99 Civic LX, but first I need to build the subharness for VTEC and knock sensor. I have the connectors for VTEC and knock sensor, but need to get the pins that go into the ecu connectors, which leads me to my questions.

I need to know if the ECU connector pins are the same between OBD2A and OBD2B? Also does anybody know a good place to aquire ecu connector pins? I have no local junkyards and have googled, but came up empty.

i have a bunch of those pins at my parents house but i wont be back there for another week or so...

 

Sorry about the misunderstanding. I knew that the actual pin locations differ between OBD2A and OBD2B, but are the pins themselves different? Or does OBD2A/OBD2B share the same pins?
If you got some, hit me up via PM, I need a few to build this harness. I want to get it done as soon as I am done swapping the engine in my SI.

 

yes those pins are the same... if you still need some let me know.....i can give u as much wire as u need i have a few spare harnesses laying around

 

I could use 5-6 pins with around 6" pigtail of wire. You dont happen to have a OBD2B auto EX harness do you?

 

there all chopped and mine are all obd2a. i know these harnesses tend to be harder n harder to find. have you checked ebay? ill let you know when i grab them if u still need them

 

No worries, I just commited to the subharness this afternoon. All I need are the 5-6 ecu pins with 6" pigtails. Let me know when you grab them and PM me what you want for them.
