Default Y7 SKUNK2 IM GSR TB

k so i have a y7 motor and im putting a Skunk2 intake manifold on with a gsr throttle body, im not necessarily looking for big gains but im just looking for a list of things to make this work everything should bolt up as far as i know and i have a new IM and TB gasket coming tomorrow.

Im more or less worried about IAC plugs and throttle cable(but for the cable i could just take the rotator spring and cable off y7 TB couldnt i?) stuff like that id like to do this somewhat painlessly.

Can anyone think of anything else that could pose to be an issue during install?

Thanks

i believe all y7's had a 3 wire iacv so you have to reuse your y7 t/b. or get a chipped 28

So if i use a y7 TB instead of GSR i avoid doing some wiring and converting the 3 wire to a 2 wire can i not just put a block plate on the back of the IM so i dont have to move the IACV?

yes your going to have to block it off some way because you cant convert to a 2 wire unless you have a chipped p06

so its all on, Y7 Motor with Skunk2 IM and Y7 TB had to make a custom bracket for the throttle cable and two block plates for the IM, only issue is now it has bouncing revs at idle, slowly trying to burp all the air out of the coolant lines, checked for vacuum leaks and couldn't find anything. might possibly be bad IAC cause i'm not sure of the history on the donor TB. i have another one that came off my car that i will try if burping the coolant doesn't work.

also the rad seems to have white foam coming out the cap when i top it up. don't think its the head gasket which is the often assumption....any input?
