To know what kind of headlights i need i dont want the lights to be yellow i would like them to be white or brighter, does advanced sell the kind i want? went there yesterday but didnt know what i was looking at, also do they even make colored dome lights, like i want a purple one to turn on when the door is opened. idk if they make normal colored dome lights. you can use LEDs or just paint.

kinda sounds like you want HIDs for your headlights. don't think you can just throw in a different white bulb.

as for your headlights, you can either get brighter bulbs, it will usually say so on the bulb package, or H.I.D.s, which are hella bright, but usually dont look good unless there on projectors.

Silverstar or Silver star Ultra's. As far as regular halogens go. The number on the box you want is H4/9003. Your dome light is DE3175. Thats sylvania's number. But they don't make different colors. You'd have to find the isle with the multicolored lights and do-dads and find a bulb of your choice that resembles the sylvania bulb. DE3175

EDIT: this is a better site for HID's, IMO. www.ddmtuning.com there cheap and great customer service. I've dealt with them before.

 

I know my sister's boyfriend just went to autozone and got the "premium" bulbs for his jetta and they're the white/bluish lights, they look good. I don't know if it depends on the car though, I just have regular halogens in my 'vic.

 

6000k hid is what you want. they are safer and has more usable light in the light spectrum. looks like a hyper white/blue.

HID's usually run from $60-120, depending on who you buy them from and if you want bixenon or low/high beam

 

there are LED dome light kits here on the marketplace, 10x brighter than halogen, universal applications, various colors i'd assume

and i'd go for silverstar's or silverstar ultras for the stock headlight,

anyways I hate those HID kits.. they just blind other people on the road. I would personally stick with stock h4 bulbs instead. Or you can retro fit your headlights with some real HID TSX bulbs. So you get true HID

 

you and me both. that's why they're illegal in CA. fugly *** lights that don't even have a good beam projection.

Sylvania Silverstar is a more true white than the Silverstar Ultra. I think that's your best best.

 

if you take some scratch out to your headlights it will clear them up a lot and be way brighter.
