Default H22A4 ECU choice

I have a 97 H22A4 to put into my 97 Civic dx Hatch. No one will answer me. What Ecu should I run. The p2p looks like my best choice so far for obd2.
i would appreciate some help from someone who has done the swap and knows what they're talking about, thanks

If you want to stay OBD2 and don't want to install the complete H22A4 Prelude immobilizer system, that will also require a new ignition key. I would say your best bet would be the 1996 P13. The '96 is the only OBD2 H22 ECU that does not have the immobilizer circuit. Your other option would be a chipped and tuned OBD1 ECU, this would require an OBD2 to OBD1 wire harness.

I have been using the obd2 p13 ecu with my h22a4 civic. they are not easy to find tho.

Your best bet is to use your p5m ecu. send it to katman, he can put the hack board in so you can use that ecu in the civic w/o having to install all that immo crap.

I just answerd that. you gotta send out the ecu, katman is the only guy i know that can install the hack board to bypass the immo board in the p5m ecu. this is new to me as of a few days ago. Im going to send mine out to him and hope he can do what he says he can. Its been known that you can do it to acura ecu's but never prelude ecu's, well i guess now it is possible,. which is AWESOME news, or in katmans words a "god sent" lol

about 80$
i shouldnt call it a hack, its the same thing as the 12pin for the acuras but its a 10 pin instead. When I get mine back i will be able to see the part number and I will proabably do the same service if digikey can get the same chip/board.
