What type of brake pads are people running?
i have the hawk hps and theyre pretty good perfomers with virtually little to no dusting. im going for the hp+ next time. also get new rotors when you get pads too.
I've had MetalMasters before, and they were REALLY nice for the street. I have a set of Ultimates coming now though, and we'll see how these fare.

Ive actually heard it could be a bad thing to break in new rotors with new pads...what have you heard that you say replace both?

you don't need new pads in every case. you should check your clearances and make sure that they are straight. if they are fine, then just get them surfaced.
Most the time you can have your rotors resurfaced, thats what i did and threw on some AEM pads works better than stock...oh ya i also decided to run steel braided lines

Are you guys saying that you change rotors everytime that you change pads? I always thought rotors outlasted the pads by a long period of time (unless they happen to be damaged or unusually abused)??
For my 92 dx. I just put on Brembo (Oem replacement ) Rotors which are not slotted or cross drilled. (35 each) + Nissin "sport" pads (upgrade over stock)
Nissin makes A.E.M 's pads and SPOON's! too.
I plan to do Earls S. steel lines w/ Ate superblue fluid.
This is just a tie me over for when I get my motor,
Integra Ls or gsr brake conversion is a great Idea. w/ Aimmco rotors (auto zone) or brembo blanks,
Hawk pads are good, Nissin, I know of a lota folks running Carbotech (panther plus) on their trackday cars. ebc are "o.k" from what i hear. endless are good.

i have a set of integra powerslot rotors and project mu brakepads. they are ok and during low speeds and a light pedal, they squeak a lot. i'm not sure if this is normal or if i didn't break them in properly.
