I currently just got a 2010 Insight EX with the navigation system and as of right now its already in the shop to be looked at. The issue is when the key ir turned to "ACC" the navigation and all the stuff that has to do with the console works fine and also my 12v adaptor has power, as soon as I start the engine the Navi turns off and so does my 12v adapter, does anyone know what the issue is with this? If I find out the fix and everything I will post it as soon as I know.

BTW I love this car even though I only had for a day

I would take it back to the dealer that your purchased it from you shouldn't be having a problem with the Navagation losing power it will be covered under your 3yr-36k non powertrain warranty so it shouldn't cost you a dime to get it fixed.

 

The person that noticed it was the sale guy before he handed me the keys, I dropped it off last night and showed them the problem so they knew it was a problem, when I called them this morning he said it started working on its own and that they dont know why, but my other thing is before the sales guy handed me over the car he put some kind of chip underneath the steering wheel, does anyone know what that chip was.
