Default p30 to p28 with a gsr

Car:
1998 civic dx
obd2 b18c1

So my car was not starting the other week, and i started looking around for the problem and i open my p30 ecu and its fried. I looked at it for a while and noticed it was not fixable. Now im thinking of putting a p28 instead of the p30. But i was looking at the obd2 to obd1 conversion harness and part of it is bypassed to go to my vafc controller. If i put the p28 in it should still be just plug and play right?

Thanks jf, if any other info is needed just let me know.

Get an obd2a to obd1 ecu jumper & have your p28 chipped for the b18c1 engine.

If you need a place to have this done at, check my signature :-)
