Default Problem's with Wheel Studs..

Hey Honda-Tech,

I have been having alot of problems with my wheel studs spinning in the hub, I was wondering since I am going to be upgrading to extended studs do a lot of you fast guys weld the backs of them to the hub? I haven't really looked into different hubs so any help is welcome!

Thanks everyone.

ive never had a problem with them. are you making sure that the splines are lined up when you press them in??? but if they spin ive seen ppl tack weld each one.

I think it is souly because they are the original hubs from 1992 and they are old. I take it the more the wheels come off the greater the risk that the stud will spin. I think I am just going to tac weld the new extended ones in.

Has anyone ran the Summit Racing extended lug nut?

Make sure your tac welds penetrate the hub good. I had one brake off and destroy a set of brake shoes and a drum..
