Default Hello( Don't know if this is the right place)

Hello Honda-Tech.com,

My name is Kiyo, 17 years old and my first project is a Honda Civic 1995 DX. I am new to the Honda scene after owning a E36 BMW then an E60 (Still own). I want to do a K20/K24 swap supercharged, but I don't know much on Honda. Any help will be appreciated. I live in FL but the build will start in New York, only because my uncle bought me the car as a 17th birthday present.

Why didn't your uncle just buy you a blown K-swapped car to begin with?

Freaking cheapskate.

Ditch the K-series idea and go GSR, you'll save about 8k dollars and some bottles of Tylenol.

Man this is a huge project its not something you can just slap together. I would say start reading what others have done and then keep reading and then keep reading and then read some mo and when you've done all of that read one more time then start buying parts.

look at company's out there that sell a "starter kit" for k series

but i would do like others have said ditch the k for the time

i have been doin honda's for a good min and i am still not ready to make the jump yet
mostly $$ but that and in a eg chassis u have to ruin the chassis to make it k swaped
meaning u have to cut off a factory mount location and 99.9% of time to go back u wont get the stock mount 100% perfect hints ruinned chassis

I actually am worried since I don't really have a dependable job. DJ'ing isn't getting me much at the moment.

@Rey Would the GSR be easier than the Kseries ?
@ Hanin Sorry for not using the search

@1player I've been hearing that from a lot of people I just don't know yet.

I do want at least a stable Daily and a minor track car.. Sounds a bit much doesn't it ?

do the GSR or type r. it'll be a straight drop in and you can still supercharge/turbo it. get the LSD with either one you'll be happy you did.

it won't be as fast as a k but plenty fast enough for what you want. alot cheaper and easier.
