FS: D16Z6 Long Block w/ Skunk2 Stage 1 cam
I got a D16Z6 that I pulled out of my 94 Civic EX. Long block only, no transmission.
When I got the car, I had a shop install a new headgasket, vtec solenoid gasket, spark plugs, pretty much a full tune up... and while they were in there I had them install a Skunk 2 Tuner (Stage 1) camshaft (part #305-05-0100). A couple weeks later, I started hearing a rod knock and stopped driving it. So, instead of rebuilding the bottom end, I ended up swapping in a JDM D15B VTEC so I no longer need this.
The motor was running when pulled, but since I'm trying to be honest here, it does have that rod knock after the motor warms up.
This is perfect for those wanting to build the bottom end, or maybe you just need a Z6 head to add VTEC to your mini-me....
Asking $300 OBO for everything picked up in Los Angeles, this is a deal seeing as the Skunk2 cam by itself is like $350!
