I got in my car drove off within a minute my car jolted once and then completely turned off. i have no clue what happened to my car. please help! P.S. the car turns over but does not start

 

First thing on that would be check the timing belt. Then spark and fuel.

 

could b fule pump... dats what was wrong wit mines

first and easiest thing to check is to turn the key to the on position and listen to see if your fuel pump is priming. it will be a humming/whinning sound that happens for the first few seconds when you turn the key to on.

 

Happened to me once ended checking the spark plugs fuel timing belt distributor and ended up forgetting about the sound it wasn't making which ended up leading to a burned fuse under the dash

 

Definitely needs more detail..

Does the car turn over? Does it make a clicking noise when turning over? Is it auto or stick so you can try to push start? Have you tried to jump start?!
