Default 24.5" Mickey T's leaking from the sidewall?

I bought these off a friend that had them on a spare set of wheel's (which I also bought) and he only put a few passes on them, I was washing them right after I bought them and I noticed air bubbling right out of the round circle with the nipple right below my thumb, there is another circle at the end of the "13" which is also leaking air..... have any of you ever seen this before?

That is normal. They do not leak that much. Just check them like you should at the track

Yeah, I have a pair for a customer that does the same thing. We checked the round out and everything, it was just how it was made.

I think its funny that a tire that leaks like this is acceptable...lol This definately makes me want to run tubes.

Its not that it leaks its the location of the leak

If you want a pair of tires that dont leak, either run tubes like theyre intended for, or run radials.

I have had a few sets of slicks, all the ones that held air had passes on them. My brand new Mickey 24.5's don't hold air, and my Brand New skinnies let a little bit of air out too.

OP buy a good tire pressure gauge and a take a air tank with you or a small portable air compressor.

Slicks, no. I have a pair of their fronts for the rear of my car and one holds air and the other doesn't. What's up with that? lol

It's just part of being a MT user.
