LS/vtec build worries
So the time has come for my first build. I'm getting a LS hatch that's going to come with a B16 head. I'm just wondering if I should ditch the LS bottom end and go with a GSR bottom since they're already intended to rev higher. It's not going to be a race car by any means probably about 180-190 whp . It's not a DD either just weekends and whenever I want to tear up some backroads thx in advance
I plan on throwin in some RS machine pistons, ARP rod bold bolts and headstuds.
I've read the "reliable LS/B20 vtec thread" its just I don't really see that many LS/v builds any more.

i've ran both, pushing the ls to around 7.5~8rpm daily. the Ls will run fine and make you some more torque than the gsr. I even ran ARP bolts and rs pistons too. Eventually the engine dropped a valve (the GSR head failed before the LS block).
