first off obd1 b16a has the bouncing idle and at high rpms it backfires and like feels like it makes no power
it has a cel 2 long blinks and 4 quick ones is that 24? i coudnt find a code 24
it dont have a thermostat since the engine is allways cold could that be whats making it run like krud? thnx in advance

 

 

CHECK THE TIMING..

 

running the engine cold is not a good idea, get a t stat in there. There are reasons for running at operating temperature.

 

how are you running it cold all the time??

get a thermostat and make sure your fan switch works.
turn the car on let it sit and warm up and check if the code goes away.

 

Adjust your IACV for the idling problem.
