Car wont start, no spark
Its been quite awhile since I have last logged onto here.
Well I have a 99 civic si and on Friday I was driving to the gym. I came to a 3 way stop, it seemed to be running fine, then I started moving again and about 300ft from the stop sign I noticed the rpms drop from about 3k to 0. Then the idiot lights popped on while I was going about 20mph or so. I quickly pushed the clutch in and tried restarting it with no luck.
So I towed it home, and that broke my front lip getting it off the bed
, and realized that Im not getting a spark it does turn over fine though but will not fire. Within the last year I changed the distributor cap and rotor along with getting new plug wires. We pulled a plug out and I noticed that when it was turning over it did have a gas smell. So gas is getting there. We also sanded down some of the corrosion on the rotor and plug wires but that didnt help either. It kind of looked to me and my dad that the rotor tip looked slightly burnt on the left side but not the right.
I also hooked a computer up to the ECU to check the codes, even though the check engine light wasnt on, and it spit out P0133 which has to do with the first O2 sensor. This is probably because gas is getting released but the engine is not firing so the air gas ratio is probably off.
Any help is appreciated. I searched for a lil while before posting and didnt come across anything that was real similar to my situation.
