Default pwjdm vtec solenoid cover
hey guys how the hell do u put this thing on. i thought it was simply a cover that slides over the existing one. the one i got is the exact size of the stock one on my b16a. how do u take off the oem one?

did you order yours for an obd0 or obd1 b series solenoid? perhaps some one swapped out your solenoid for another one?

Doesn't it just slide on over the old one? Why waste your money on one. Just paint your old one

it just said b 16 solenoid cover. and the packaging said eg solenoid cover for some reason. do they make bigger ones? so they are just supposed to slide over the original one?

the obd0 jdm vtec solenoids are bigger than usdm obd1/2 vtec solenoids

they dont make them for the obd0 solenoid.

and just in case you need a gasket for that solenoid, it's the same as the 91 nsx.
