h2b questions

Default h2b questions

Im doing a h2b in my crx i am using the evolution kit..I got the adapter plate on and the flywheel but i am havin problems with the pressure plate which is off a b16..the diamater of the plate is slightly short..my question is do i maybe use and ls or gsr one?? Is there a different is size?

they arent different. but there are what looks to be a bunch of alignment holes. just keep rotating it only the right ones will fit.

we did rotate them but none of them fit.......i got on off my brother inlaws b16 dont fit one of my brother b17 and that one dont fit so idk ill go out there now and try it agian....

ok well i got it to fit guys now i have another questions the pressure plate doesnt sit flush to the flywheel?? is it supposed to be like this? its seems like the disc is keepin them apart

yes i do it looks like thats lined up good just seems like the disc is keeping it that far apart so idk what it could be

put then bolts in and torque them down. i think its like 23 ft lb's

Once you have properly aligned the pressure plate to the dowel pins on the flywheel with the alignment tool installed, then you torque down the pressure plate in a criss/cross pattern to get the pressure plate to properly seat against the flywheel. As you do this you will notice the "fingers" on the pressure plate start to level out and look flat.
