Default d15b7/d16z6 in crx si

ok im pretty sure its somewhere in here and i tried to search and came up with nothing now i got a d15b7 in a 90 crx si and i want to know everything you need to make a d16z6 head work on a crx si .

i saw one write up but it went on a 93 civic i want to know what is needed for a 90 crx si

first of all your 90 crx si should have a D16 motor in it if its really an Si model.

for the d16z6 head to work on your block, read up on mini-me write ups.

It's all the same. Considering a D15B7 is from a 92-95 DX or LX, Putting the Z6 head on it is the same. Adding the wires is the same, however your going to have to convert to OBD1. That's the only thing that's Different. FAQ section has info on this.

Yes it did have a d16 but it took a dump so we just put a d15b7 in it cuz it was cheap as hell and now this motor started to smoke due to the head so we just planned on putting this d16z6 head cuz it was

i can see where you would be stumped if you didn't know the term "mini-me." search that.
