Default H22 swap question

I am putting a h22a in my 95 honda civic vx, I have done an h22 swap before in my integra and didnt do it but I am wondering if the civic vx needs a bigger fuel pump since the vx has the d15z1 vtec-e motor? I am debating on just putting a walbro 190 in it but if I put a 190 in it will the stock FPR hold the 190?

Default Re: H22 swap question

Unless it's worn out, the stock VX pump will work fine. My friend has a turbocharged H22A in his VX, and ran the stock VX fuel pump until it gave out (it was old and the car has almost 300,000 miles on it). But your VX is a 15 year old car, so the fuel pump will eventually go on it. So if you have the $ now, you might as well do some preventative maintenance.
