Did 2001 have the Integra LS? (US)
I tried looking at the stickies and wikipedia but they only talked about the Type R in 2001.
Did they produce and sell the LS and GSR in 2001?
And one more question off topic:
What is the rev at when you go 80mph in 5th gear on a B16 Si tranny?

Yes, all models of the Integra (RS,LS,GS,GSR) were available in 2001. It was the last year of production before the introduction of the RSX, which regardless, is still an Integra. :p
IOW - The versions of Integra available in 2001 were the LS, GS, GS-R, and Type R. The other versions that were not available in 2001 were the RS and Special Edition.
I left out the Type R due to the fact the OP had already listed it!
I know this because... Well... My drag car is an 01 Type R.

But to answer the other question:
65mph: approx 4k rpm.
Thats what I'm used to comparing to.
Not 100% sure about 80mph, but I'd guess 4.5k-5k

Wrong. 4000 RPM is 80 mph on a stock GS-R. (81 mph, to be precise.) It's 92 mph on an LS, and 75 mph on an Integra Type R.
Really?. Thanks for the correction. I might need to double check on my sisters integra LS. Always seems a bit off. Previous owner must have replaced the LS trans for a GSR and didnt noticed.
Don't mind him. Insignificant.
It can vary slightly depending on tire size too, but only by a mph or two at most.
My LS at 4k is right at 90mph according to the speedo, but Honda's Vehicle Speed Sensors unfortunately aren't the most accurate ones.

Yes; I own a 2001 LS.
I'm not sure about 80, but when I owned a 2000 Si, 5th gear at 72mph would spin at roughly 3900 RPM and 100mph would spin roughly 5600 RPM IIRC. 80mph would have definitely been above 4000.

Question...if just your tranny is stolen in your car will they impound your whole car and not let you ever get it out?? if so where do you go to check your vins??
Pretty sure they impound your car and you have no way of getting it.
That's what happened to my brother at least.
I don't know where to check the vins however. If you have modified or missing vins it's all bad.

That's true of the actual speed, but not the indicated speed. The relationship between the speed indicated on the speedometer and the revs indicated on the tachometer is not affected by the tire size you're using.
so if i was to do a vin swap and they check it im f**ked? just askin cause i need a swap and this guy i really dont know said he gots a compleate gsr swap for a g or less(hasnt said exact price) but it sounds to good to be true. and legitt!! so how do i know if everything is legitt?? also this is the second time im going to be building my first car!! wanna do it rightt
