vtec is not workin and revs cut off at 6500 rpm how do i fix this prob

His ecu may be in limp mode. I am probably wrong but it is just a suggestion.

I just had this problem on my H22 90 accord. It was that my wires on the ECU for the VTEC were loose. This puts the car in Limp or safe mode. Try to move the wires on the ECU if nothing works you might have a bad sensor.

Try running a GSR ECU on it. I put one on mine and it help out.
