I wouldn't recommend it. It's the size it is for a reason. You may not get adequate cooling with that small a radiator.

you are dumb

yes you can use the half radiator you will be fine...however you will have mounting issues. unless you want to hack off the old mounts and re weld them.

If not just pick up a new one.

I certainly wouldn't say he's dumb.

If you're in standstill traffic with the AC on in any type of heat, I could certainly see how having 1 fan and half the radiator size could and would cause issues. You would definitely be running hotter than normal.

For the price of an Accord radiator why not just do that?

I just bought one from these guys for my grand prix, it was identical to the OEM one. I was very impressed even came with new automatic transmission line fittings. Perfect fit and its only 22 dollars plug 29 dollars shipping. So for 51 dollars you can have brand new one.

Looks like you actually have some sense.

I purchased a radiator also from that seller for a Expedition. Looks better than OEM and the fit was perfect!

Have you ever wondered why the radiator is the size it is? If you knew, you would never say something like that. Just because you can mount it in the car, doesn't mean its cooling capacity is adequate. You would be asking for overheating issues.

Are you running a single/slimfan to that? or just using the stock one. Cuz i know my 95 has the dual fans. my friend has a EG hatch and he's been drivin his with a half radiator for months and hasn't had issues at all.

well i would use the half size one you got and either make a new bottom mount or take the stock one of and weld or jb weld and 2 bolts and maybe a better aftermarket fan
its better to use the half size one for boosting it wink wink
