Hey HT got another problem for you guys. lol so i picked up this 90 crx with a dohc ZC swap, the check engine light is on and it like hesitates a lil when you first give it gas, the guy i bought it from says its jus the TPS sensor but i jus wanted to see if any of you guys would know more? other than that it drives and runs just fine. So if any body knows let me know ok thanks alot......

I should of took it to auto zone but the guy i bought it from said he did and said thats wat it was...

 

verify that it is indeed a code 7 (tps) problem...if it is just pick up a tps from the junkyard,install and recalibrate it...!!!

 

so is that how it drives when its a TPS sensor?? then and ya i belive he told me it was code 7. But any ways i already ordered a new one. so how do u install it? looks really easy jus take off n put on right? so how do u recalibrate it??

 

if its a code 7 problem then the car will jerk in motion while shifting from a dead start but isn't noticable on the open road...do a search and you will find how to install and calibrate a tps...!!!
