i just purchased a crx shell out of a friend of mine, i want to make it my new project, but i still haven't decide on the swap , i was told on b16 of course but the tend to b overpriced and am in a short budget, but i had an mind something clean and fast somethinf like an las swap, or a ZC swap and eventually zc turbo is it a good idea?

do what you want...its your car and if you cant decide what motor to get then read the FAQ since there are helpful threads to give you an idea on what to do...!!!

 

id go with the JDM b16a1, yes there pricey but well worth it.
If you can do a b18 type R head, with a GRS tranny.
overall yes your gonna pay for it but in a crx that setup
is nearly untouchable!

only reason i know,
is because i have the same setup
minus the GSR tranny but it still rips!

 

What are your goals for this project? And what will the car be used for?

Drag racing, AutoX, etc...?

just throw a z6, turbo it and call it a day
